Amidon throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tested tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Amidon is in Tested's guard.#ES2#
Tested has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Amidon is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position.
Amidon is working for takedown but Tested is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tested is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.#BC#
Amidon breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Tested shoots in and drives through. Amidon sprawls well.#TD#

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Tested lands a nice short elbow.
Amidon is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Tested scores with a couple of nice shots.

Tested is working to tighten his grip on Amidon's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Amidon has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Tested is really squeezing tight and eventually Amidon passes out! Tested breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Battle Tested!

Paixao forces Amidon back against the cage and clinches.
Paixao fails to pull guard.
Paixao stalling the fight.

Paixao is looking to clinch but Amidon is avoiding it.
The fighters circling - Amidon throws out the jab but it was never going to land. #TD#
Amidon shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Paixao's guard.
Amidon could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Amidon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Amidon is working for a rear naked choke. Paixao is not defending it well and Amidon has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Paixao refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Paixao's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
