Chan has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Zapata dives in for a single leg takedown but Chan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Chan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Zapata tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chan sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Zapata somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chief Zapata. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Neil has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Neil is squeezing on Zapata like an anaconda would it's prey. Zapata fails to tap and has fallen unconscious!
