Roo throws a body kick, spinning off balance
letting Alvarez counter with a right hand.
Roo tries to clinch up but Alvarez circles away and keeps his distance.
Alvarez swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Alvarez fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Roo on the side of the head.
A shot to the liver by Alvarez. Beautiful body shot.
Alvarez throws a nice outside leg kick.
Roo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alvarez tries to avoid it but Roo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alvarez to the ground. Alvarez escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alvarez feinted there with a counter leg kick.
Crunch! Alvarez slams his shin into Roo's torso.
Roo shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alvarez defends it nicely.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Alvarez cracks Roo with a right hand to the side of the head.
Alvarez cracks Roo with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Roo falls to his knees and Alvarez doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!

In his post fight interview, Whorely Alvarez started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.

Munson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Munson throws a solid leg kick but Roo takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Munson.
Roo ducks under a wild hook from Munson.
Roo tries to clinch up but Munson circles away and keeps his distance.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Roo is defended easily by Munson.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Munson lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Roo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Roo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
