Uematsu showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Konds.
As Konds tries to get set, Uematsu tries to push him back and clinch up but Konds manages to avoid the attempt.
Uematsu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Konds but Konds pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Uematsu looks for a takedown but Konds sprawls well.
Konds lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Uematsu circles away quickly and effectively.
Uematsu slips a jab and a cross from Konds.
Uematsu wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Konds misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Jab by Konds.
Sloppy strikes from Konds. Those never looked like landing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Konds throws a one two combo.
Konds misses with the combination.
Uematsu throwing a counter right hand but Konds manages to avoid it.

Uematsu fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Konds, pushing him back against the cage.#T1#
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Konds creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
A frustrated look appears on Uematsu's face as he tries to break the clinch.
Uematsu drops down looking for an ankle pick but Konds pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Koichi Uematsu. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Some wild striking there from Uematsu.
Konds fails to land with a series of punches.
Uematsu dives in for a single leg takedown but Konds sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Despite the aggression on Konds's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Konds fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Uematsu appears to be looking for a big counter.
Konds throws a perfectly timed hook that sends Uematsu crashing down! Uematsu tries to stagger back to his feet but Konds just hammers him until the ref stops the fight! A confused Uematsu asks the ref what just happened. Poor fella.

A head kick by Dash misses
and Uematsu counters with a lovely straight right hand!#KD#
Dash lands a big head kick that sends Uematsu tumbling to the mat! Dash takes a step backwards and waves Uematsu back to his feet - he wants the finish!#ROC#
Uematsu is rocked!#CUT#
It looks like Koichi Uematsu has been cut.
Uematsu throws a wild body kick that Dash sees coming a mile off.
Uematsu is still on wobbly legs! Can Dash finish him?
Uematsu throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Dash's waist but Dash gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Uematsu off to one side.
Uematsu seems to have recovered his senses.
A head kick misses from Dash.
Uematsu tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#CL2#

Dash breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dash turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Uematsu shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dash but Dash pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Dash moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Uematsu looks winded!
Dash looks for a left high kick but can't connect. Dash backs up to catch a breather... no he lunges forward with a huge flying knee that smacks Uematsu's temple! It sends Uematsu violently to the canvas! The crowd goes nuts as Dash celebrates and the doctors try to help Uematsu!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Flying Knee). Jonny Dash!

Milicic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Uematsu circles away quickly and effectively.
Uematsu with a poor takedown
and Milicic counters with a straight right hand.
Milicic misses with a series of wild punches.
Uematsu takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Milicic tries to bum rush Uematsu with a series of wild strikes but Uematsu uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
No joy there for Milicic, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Milicic looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Milicic throws a one two combo.
Uematsu fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
An attempted straight right counter from Milicic misses the target.
Uematsu takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Milicic lands with a straight right. Uematsu didn't see that one coming.

Milicic manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Uematsu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

It looks like Koichi Uematsu has been cut.
Uematsu walks straight into a right hand from Milicic - that's dropped him! Milicic jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Uematsu from any more punishment! Uematsu complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Darko Milicic decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.

and Vidal counters with a right hand to the body.
Vidal comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.#KD#

Vidal thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Uematsu has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Vidal has passed into side control.

Vidal has hold of Uematsu's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Uematsu tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Vidal cranks the arm and Uematsu screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Uematsu, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Jorge Vidal!
