and Lee counters with a nice uppercut.
Lee keeps the fight on the outside.
Lee circles away from the clinch attempt.
Smith misses with a head kick.
Smith tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Lee has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Smith throws a head kick that Lee semi-blocks.
Lee throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Smith looks to clinch
and Lee counters with a straight right hand.
Smith tries to clinch up.
Darin Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith throws the kick towards the body but Lee avoids it.
Lee clobbers Smith with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Lee lands a body shot.
Smith tries to clinch up but Lee circles away and keeps his distance.
Lee scores with a sloppy right hand. Smith should have avoided that one.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Lee lands a left and a right that send Smith crashing to the mat, dazed. Lee thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC#

Lee circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Smith to the canvas! Smith doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Lee keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!

Ginger Lee opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.

Smith tries to clinch there but Grominsky circles away.

Toews on the wrong end of a nice hook.
Darin Smith seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Smith moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
We've been told by Toews's head coaches at Hilo Hit Squad that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Toews just misses with a punch to the body.

Toews has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Smith avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.
