Hitter shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Akinwande as he avoids it easily.
Akinwande punishes Hitter's body with a nice straight punch.

Akinwande feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hitter sprawling to the canvas! Hitter rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Akinwande finish him?!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Akinwande here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Akinwande seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Hitter loses concentration momentarily and Akinwande pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Hitter crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Akinwande finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

Mazepin has his takedown stuffed#TD#
and Hitter counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Mazepin!
Hitter knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mazepin on the ground.
Mazepin is not content to let Hitter control the position.
Mazepin tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Hitter wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
Hitter has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Mazepin keeps trying to improve his position.

Mazepin is working on the RNC. He looks like he's got it but Hitter won't tap... Oh, he's out! The ref rips Mazepin off his unconscious opponent!

Allen has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Hitter to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Allen is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Hitter pulls down on the head and he's put Allen to sleep! This one is all over!
