As El Salahuddin tries to get set, Simmons tries to push him back and clinch up but El Salahuddin manages to avoid the attempt.

El Salahuddin shoots in for a takedown but Lungiambula shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
El Salahuddin fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lungiambula throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Lungiambula is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
El Salahuddin shoots in and drives through. Lungiambula sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Aslam El Salahuddin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
