StClair needs to keep his hands up - Tonni had a free shot at his head there.
StClair walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Tonni goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Tonni throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent StClair stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Prince Tonni seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Tonni scores with a decent looking hook.
StClair throws a nice looking combination but Tonni bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Tonni lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
StClair is looking to slow Tonni down with leg kicks.
Tonni rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but StClair moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
StClair is looking to counter with head kicks.
Tonni fails to land with a series of punches.
StClair throws a solid leg kick but Tonni takes the impact on his shin and smiles at StClair.
Tonni moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.#CUT2#

StClair closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. #ES2#
Tonni explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
StClair slips under a jab from Tonni.
StClair throws a looping overhand right but Tonni ducks down to avoid it.
StClair fails in his attempt to clinch.
Tonni fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. StClair looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Tonni takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.#T1#
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from StClair lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Tonni has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Tonni and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
StClair takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Tonni missing with a left hand there. StClair was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Sloppy strikes from StClair. Those never looked like landing.
StClair takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
StClair is breathing heavily.
Tonni misses the shot to the body.
StClair misses with the combination.
Tonni misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from StClair.
StClair fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tonni has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Tonni slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
StClair tries to clinch up.
Tonni bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Tonni showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from StClair.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Tonni! But no joy.
Tonni lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.#T2#

Tonni connects with a body shot that sends StClair's belly button to the back.#KD2#
Tonni cracks StClair with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Tonni has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning StClair to stand back up!#ROC2#
StClair is rocked!
Tonni dances in with a quick combination. StClair is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from Tonni snaps StClair's head back. StClair stumbles backwards against the cage. Tonni steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with StClair's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. StClair just didn't come prepared.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Prince Tonni!
During a confident post fight interview, Prince Tonni thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

StClair scores with a one two! Souza had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Souza shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. StClair defends it nicely.
StClair throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
StClair throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Souza jabbing away but nothing is landing. #CL#
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Souza is trying to pull guard but StClair has him pressed against the cage.#BC2#
Souza breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
StClair throws a sloppy head kick and Souza moves out of range easily.
StClair displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Both fighters circling a little - StClair finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

StClair lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by StClair.#T1##TD#
StClair feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Souza looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! StClair has picked Souza up and slammed him! Souza can't keep hold of the triangle and StClair manages to pass to side control!
Souza looking for a sweep but StClair has passed into full mount! Oh no!
StClair manages to capitalize on a mistake by Souza to take his back!
StClair lands strikes to the head.
StClair slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2##SUB#
Souza is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if StClair gets his way!
Good control from StClair.
StClair seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Souza for as long as he can get away with.
Souza rolls, trying to escape but StClair keeps control of the position.

Souza is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
StClair is landing with strikes from the back.
StClair is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
