Daniels really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
No joy there for Daniels, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A combination from Daniels does no damage.
Daniels is breathing heavily.
Daniels tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Crute manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Crute lands a nice hook to Daniels's body. Daniels takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Crute has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Machine Gun was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

During a confident post fight interview, Bob Crute thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
