Cormier gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Jasper connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Jasper lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Cormier circles away quickly and effectively.
Cormier drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Jasper defends it well.
Cormier shoots in looking for a takedown. Jasper tries to sprawl out of it but Cormier keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Jasper manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
