Broadside defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Smith.
Broadside lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

Smith shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Broadside pinned against the cage. Broadside gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Smith fails with the takedown.
Brett Broadside has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Smith.
Broadside throws a series of strikes that have Smith backpedaling.
Broadside pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Smith back to the cage. Broadside follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Smith darts in looking for a takedown but Broadside gets double underhooks and turns Smith into the cage.
Broadside moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Smith in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Broadside tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Smith!
