Dimatulac tries to bum rush Degrom with a series of wild strikes but Degrom uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Degrom tests Dimatulac's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Dimatulac misses with a takedown attempt - Degrom sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horrible takedown attempt by Dimatulac or perhaps it was just good defense by Degrom, which made it look bad.
Dimatulac changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Degrom tries to avoid it but Dimatulac manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Degrom to the ground. Degrom escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Zach Degrom has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bernardo Dimatulac.

Valdez could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Valdez tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Dimatulac cranks the arm and Valdez screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Valdez, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
