Alexander darts in looking for a takedown but Whitehead gets double underhooks and turns Alexander into the cage.
Whitehead cracks the inside of Alexander's front leg.
Whitehead keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Alexander closes the distance and clinches up with Whitehead, looking for a takedown. Alexander pushes Whitehead against the cage but Whitehead circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Whitehead seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
Rueben Whitehead has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Orsos Alexander.#CL#

Alexander looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Whitehead throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Alexander's waist but Alexander gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Whitehead off to one side.
Alexander doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.

Alexander stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Whitehead swivels though and keeps the full guard.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Alexander cracks Whitehead with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Alexander immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Whitehead is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Alexander!

Horrible takedown attempt by Pratt or perhaps it was just good defense by Alexander, which made it look bad.
Alexander showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Pratt.
Pratt throws a nice looking combination but Alexander bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Despite the aggression on Alexander's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter.
Alexander avoids a kick to the body.

Alexander postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Pratt covers up, he's hurt! Alexander keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Alexander and the ref steps in to end the fight! Alexander can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
