It seemed like Watne was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Watne cracks Takahuri with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Takahuri fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Takahuri ducks under a wild hook from Watne.
Takahuri is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Motobe takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Motobe scores with a jab to the body.
Watne throws a right and a left that both miss.
Motobe tries to clinch
and Watne counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Motobe stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Watne lands with an overhand left.
Watne listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Motobe gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Watne.
Watne lands a jab to the nose.#ROC#

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Watne blocks a low kick nicely.

Kemp shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Watne but Watne pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Kemp on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Watne lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though. #ROC2#

Are you kidding me?! Watne ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Kemp clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!

Watne ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Watne no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Downs passes Watne's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Watne is trying to maintain the position but Downs is very close to passing his half guard.
Downs seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Watne does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Downs really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Watne can do anything to dispel that myth.

Well Watne has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
