Avinu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Zappa. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Avinu got a little sloppy there for a moment and Zappa has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Avinu has managed to get both his arms back between Zappa's legs - danger averted.

Zappa goes for a takedown attempt but Morningstar pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nate Zappa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zappa shoots in but Morningstar avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Zappa shoots in and drives through. Morningstar sprawls well.
Morningstar went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Lucifer Morningstar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nate Zappa.#TD2#
Zappa closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Zappa is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Morningstar is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Morningstar flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Zappa anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Morningstar and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Zappa slips an arm under Morningstar chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Zappa has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Zappa is squeezing on Morningstar like an anaconda would it's prey. Morningstar fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!

and Zappa takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. #CUT2#
It looks like Nate Zappa has been cut.
Nate Zappa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
OGrady bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Zappa's head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters circling slowly here as the pace drops. Hopefully one of them does someth.. OOOHHHH!!!! OGrady throws an absolute beast of a head kick! Zappa is done! He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!

An out of breath Rocco OGrady thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.

and Zappa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Smith won't be happy with that.
A lull in the action here as Zappa stalls from top position.
Smith dodges the ground and pound from Zappa.#SUB2#
Zappa has hold of Smith's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Smith tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Zappa cranks the arm and Smith screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Smith, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Thorn is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Zappa has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Thorn is looking to defend but Zappa has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Thorn! Zappa pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Thorn taps out and this one is all over!
