Sato lands the left hand.
Markov shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Sato pinned against the cage. Sato gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Horrible takedown attempt by Markov or perhaps it was just good defense by Sato, which made it look bad.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lazar Markov. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Markov chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Sato can pounce on him.
Markov shoots in but Sato avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sato is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Billy Batts has been cut.
Billy Batts seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Batts drops his hands for a split second and Sato immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Batts face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Sato follows up with a right hand that knocks Batts into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
