Nice straight punches there by Armstrong. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Armstrong.
Armstrong connects with a stiff jab that staggers Cruz - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!

Shapirov scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Cruz tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Shapirov swivels and escapes.
Shapirov stuffs the takedown.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cruz.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dashaun Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Cruz shoots for a takedown but Jackson saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A nice combination there by Jackson.
Cruz with a poor takedown
and Jackson cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Dashaun Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cruz dives in for a single leg takedown but Jackson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Cruz looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Jackson with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Cruz connects with a nice short shot to Jackson's temple. #SUB#

In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.

Gustavsson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cruz stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Gustavsson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Cruz shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Gustavsson as he avoids it easily.
A little feinted left hand from Gustavsson on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.#KD#
Gustavsson lands a left and a right that send Cruz crashing to the mat, dazed. Gustavsson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC#

Cruz is still on wobbly legs! Can Gustavsson finish him?
Gustavsson fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Cruz to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Cruz looks to clinch but Gustavsson throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Cruz taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!

Armstrong throwing a counter right hand but Cruz manages to avoid it.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Armstrong is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cruz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cruz is out cold! Armstrong holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
