Marven gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Marven keeping full guard, as Kid tries to pass.
Marven is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Marven throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.

Kid drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Kid jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Marven tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Kid cranks the arm and Marven screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Marven, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

Abs doesn't manage to clinch there - Marven circles away.

Abs's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Marven is rocked!
Abs has Marven pressed up against the cage in a tight Thai clinch. Marven is arching his back, trying to avoid the knees but a big one sneaks through from Abs - that's hurt Marven badly! Oh, another knee lands and Marven is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Marven doesn't seem to be complaining.

and Le Eskine counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Le Eskine.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Marven wants to control but Le Eskine is keeping busy.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Le Eskine uses his free foot to push down on Marven's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Marven.
Le Eskine sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Marven turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Le Eskine off and cradles Marven's limp body as Le Eskine celebrates with his corner.
