McGregor tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Hendrix defends well and McGregor ends up having to push Hendrix into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Hendrix tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. McGregor manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
McGregor appears to be looking for a big counter.
McGregor looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Hendrix is fending him off so far but McGregor persists. Nope, Hendrix circles away and we're back to standing.
Hendrix shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with McGregor but McGregor pushes him off and we're back to square one.

McGregor is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hendrix is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hendrix flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. McGregor anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hendrix and secures both hooks! This could be bad! McGregor slips an arm under Hendrix chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. McGregor has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. McGregor is squeezing on Hendrix like an anaconda would it's prey. Hendrix fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
