Funke pushes Williams against the cage. Funke is working some dirty boxing. Funke pushes off with a quick right hook! Williams goes down! Williams tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Funke moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Williams feints and then cracks William's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow William down.
Williams shoots for a double leg takedown but William sprawls well. He's pushed Williams's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
William half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.
No luck for Williams with that takedown attempt.
Matt Williams seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

An attempted straight right counter from William misses the target.
Kerry William has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Matt Williams.

Williams has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. William is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Williams.
William gets to mount! Williams was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly. #SUB#
William is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Williams can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
