The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.
Alireza doesn't manage to clinch there - Goku circles away.

Segawa avoids a punch combination nicely.
Segawa is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Alireza.
Koji Segawa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kojima closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Alireza's guard.
Alireza should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Alireza wants to sweep but no luck.
Kojima pushes down on Alireza's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Kojima moves into full mount! Alireza won't be happy about that!
Alireza is desperately trying to improve his position but Kojima has a good base and remains in mount.
Kojima will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Alireza tries to lock up and control but Kojima gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Alireza really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kojima. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.#SUB#
Alireza reaches up to try and pull Kojima in and control his posture, but Kojima latches on to an arm and pivots quickly for an armbar! Alireza taps out and this one is all over!
