Cardoso feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cardoso works over Tucker with some ground and pound from guard.

A nice combination there by Tucker.
Tucker ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Tucker cracks Cardoso with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Cardoso tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Tucker pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Cardoso is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!

After winning the bout, John Tucker thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Cardoso connects with a jab and follows up with a big overhand right! Oh that's hurt Mcdonald! He's out on his feet! Cardoso rushes in and drops Mcdonald with another big right hand, forcing the referee to stop the fight!
