Degas is trying to escape back to his feet but Bennett uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Degas's coaches at Destroyer MMA have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.#SUB2#
Bennett has hold of Degas's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Degas tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Bennett cranks the arm and Degas screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Degas, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
