Kong walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Kong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Stevens but Stevens pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Kong shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Stevens defends it nicely.
Stevens throws out a counter right but Kong avoids it with no problem.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Raichu Kong. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Kong tries to clinch but Stevens is having none of it.

Kong shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lampshaw but Lampshaw pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Lampshaw is looking to counter with a body kick.

and Lampshaw counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Lampshaw remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
