Let's hope that Vale has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Jones shoots for a takedown but Vale saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jack Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones tries to kick Vale off in order to stand up. Vale Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Vale in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Jones is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

In his post fight interview, Bart Vale started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
