Daugherty decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kerr tries to roll over but Daugherty keeps him under control.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kerr can do anything to dispel that myth.

Rude feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Daughertys jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Daugherty doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Rude counters with a stiff right hand.
The crowd cheers as Rude lands an impressive looking overhand right. Daugherty doesn't seem phased though.
Rude misses with a double jab.
Daugherty seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Rude lands a really nice looking cross but Daugherty seems unphased.
Rude lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Daugherty takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
