letting Ferguson Jr counter with a right hand.
Parruttaja tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Ferguson Jr was well out of range. Poor timing from Parruttaja.
Ferguson Jr looked to counter that last move with a leg kick but didn't pull the trigger.
Pasi Parruttaja seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

No joy there for Parruttaja, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
It looked like Ferguson Jr was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Parruttaja throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ferguson Jr stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Ferguson Jr walks straight into a right hand from Parruttaja - that's dropped him! Parruttaja jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Ferguson Jr from any more punishment! Ferguson Jr complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.

Parruttaja's coach down at Iron mikes was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Parruttaja's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Dickson shoots for a double leg takedown but Parruttaja sprawls well. He's pushed Dickson's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Parruttaja throws out a counter right but Dickson avoids it with no problem.
Parruttaja throws a series of punches but Dickson avoids them all with ease.
Dickson throws a head kick that half lands.
Parruttaja fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Parruttaja has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Parruttaja has cracked Dickson with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Parruttaja lands another huge swinging hook and Dickson tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Dickson, before Parruttaja can land any more shots!

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Loser creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Loser lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Parruttaja to his knees! Loser keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
