Stec decides to stand back up. Stec steps back and let's Pulin get back to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Pulin is looking to clinch.
Stec tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Pulin manages to circle out of the way.

Stec lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Stec will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Stec looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Stec seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Pulin for as long as he can get away with.#T2#

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pulin enables Stec to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pulin manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Pulin pushes Stec off looking to stand but Stec dives back in and keeps control.
Pulin strikes from the bottom but Stec uses the opportunity to move to side control.
The referee asks Stec politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Stec prefers to stall for the moment though.
Stec really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB#
Stec is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Pulin looks calm but he's in trouble here. Stec gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Pulin is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Stec lets go of the hold and Pulin can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ventura looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Stec breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance. #CL#
Ruiz closes the distance and clinches.
Stec wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch. #TD#
Ruiz jumps guard and drags Stec to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Ruiz wants to get back to his feet but Stec is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Stec looking to sit in guard and control but Ruiz gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR#
Stec is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Ruiz has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Stec doesn't defend quickly enough and Ruiz has managed to lock this one up! Can Stec escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Ruiz on a fantastic submission victory.
