That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Carmelo Clark.

Lemieux on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Clark tries to close the distance and clinch but Lemieux swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lemieux has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Lemieux throws a left and a right that both miss
and Clark counters with a left and a right that stings Lemieux.
Clark shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Lemieux counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Clark shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Lemieux pinned against the cage. Lemieux gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. #KD2#
Lemieux cracks Clark with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Lemieux has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Clark to stand back up!#CUT2#

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
Clark fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Mutuumbe .
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Mutuumbe ! Clark is out on his feet! Mutuumbe rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Clark is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Clark is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
