As McGregor looks to move away, Sharp throws a big counter combo but McGregor just gets out of the way.

McGregor jumps guard and drags Sharp to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
McGregor wants to stand up but Sharp is controlling him.
Sharp working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sharp seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. McGregor shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Sharp is backing up but McGregor catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Sharp covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! McGregor Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
