Snapp shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Rizzuto's guard.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Snapp is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
My spies in Kangaroo's MMA inform me that Snapp has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!

Rizzuto thuds a left hand into Simmons's body.
Rizzuto works Simmons's body with a nice hook.
Rizzuto throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Simmons stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Rizzuto scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. #CUT2#
