Arien has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Mendes clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Arien is trying to stick to Mendes's back but Mendes is turning into Arien. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Arien's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Mendes.
Mendes slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Arien has picked Mendes up - he's going for a ride! Arien dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Mendes is looking to control Arien's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Mendes avoid being mounted?

Mendes is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Arien doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mendes.

Park ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Arien fails with the takedown
and Park counters with a series of strikes. Arien will be more careful next time no doubt.
Park lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Travis Park decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
