That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hatfield crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Slick - the referee stops the clock and Hatfield gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Slick. Hatfield manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Slick tries a head kick but it misses.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Slick cracks Hatfield's jaw with two stiff jabs then ducks low and throws a soul-severing right uppercut to the mouth!! Hatfield slumps to the ground with blood on his lips. The referee steps in before Slick can do further damage! This one is done, son!

Hayes shoots in for a takedown but Slick shows good takedown defense.
Hayes shoots in but Slick avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Slick lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Hayes keeps the fight on the outside.
Hayes dives in and grabs Slick's left leg, looking for a takedown. Slick pushes down on Hayes's head and hops out.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Odell Hayes. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Hayes throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Slick unleashes a big counter combination but Hayes bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Carel tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Slick paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Carel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Slick as he jumps to the side.
Carel fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Slick manages to avoid it.
Carel shoots for a double leg takedown but Slick sprawls well. He's pushed Carel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
As Carel looks to move away, Slick throws a big counter combo but Carel just gets out of the way.
Slick throws a sloppy head kick and Carel moves out of range easily.
Carel tries to clinch there but Slick circles away.
Slick is looking for a counter combo.
Slick avoids the head kick by Carel.
Carel misses the shot to the body.

Slick fails with a takedown attempt.
Slick moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Slick looks for a takedown but Dooer sprawls well.
Dooer lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slick darts in looking for a takedown but Dooer gets double underhooks and turns Slick into the cage.
Howe Dooer has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jon Slick.

and Slick counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Slick does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. #T1#
