Branch lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gracie will feel that in the morning.
Branch shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Gracie eats them both and turns towards Branch to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Branch slaps away a takedown attempt from Gracie, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Branch unleashes a big counter combination but Gracie bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Branch goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
Branch keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Branch looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Gracie with a poor takedown
and Branch counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jacare Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Gracie changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Branch tries to avoid it but Gracie manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Branch to the ground. Branch escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Gracie has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Branch. Oh but Gracie has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Branch goes limp - he's gone! Gracie jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!

After the fight, Jacare Gracie was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

Branch moves forwards but Carsara connects with a nice, crisp jab.

Carsara scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Branch doesn't seem bothered though.

Branch will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
