No joy there for Halal, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Vasquez's jab looks to have found its range, popping Halal under the eye.
Halal throws a right and a left that both miss.#CL#
Vasquez clinches.
Halal lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Vasquez.

Halal tries to pull guard but Vasquez won't allow it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Halal lands a big elbow - Vasquez is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Halal!

An attempted straight right counter from Cline misses the target.
Halal misses with a shot to the body #TD#
and Cline counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Halal missing with punches from the bottom.
Cline tries to stand and escape but Halal is controlling the position.
Cline trying to pass the guard but Halal defending well.
Cline not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Halal makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Halal.

Cline might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#SUB2#
Halal had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Cline defends it easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cline wants to get up but he can't break Halal's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

OH! Cline has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Halal smells blood and charges in for the finish! Halal unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Cline sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

Burgess throws a one two combo.
A combination from Halal does no damage.
Halal lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.#CUT2#

Halal gets caught flat footed, as Burgess shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Burgess wants to stand and escape but instead Halal has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. #REVB#
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Burgess wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Halal controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Let's hope that Halal has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
