Lothall shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Ibeabuchi counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way.

Lothall rushes Gracie Jr and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gracie Jr is pressed up against the cage. Lothall has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Gracie Jr down to the mat. Gracie Jr avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Gracie Jr tries to close the distance and clinch up but Lothall swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Lothall darts in and clinches Gracie Jr up against the cage.
Gracie Jr tries to pull guard but Lothall holds him up against the cage and eventually Gracie Jr drops back down to his feet.
Gracie Jr has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lothall is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Gracie Jr jumps guard but Lothall turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
