and Qiang counters with a huge left! Joe is in big trouble! He's backing up but Qiang isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Joe from any more damage. A dominating finish by Qiang!

Joe is working for takedown but Anderson is calmly controlling the position for now.

After the fight, Eric Anderson was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Parata can do anything to dispel that myth.
Parata bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Joe's guard. #REVB#

Joe is looking to cinch up a triangle. Parata throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Joe's body to avoid the submission. Joe has instead reached around Parata's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Joe arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Grant manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Joe on his heels. He'll look to pass Joe's guard now, I'm sure.

Joe working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grant doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Grant manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Grant is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Grant might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
