Lamochenko has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Bishop should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Lamochenko has tightened it up now! Bishop should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Zangief Lamochenko!

Zimmerman shoots in looking for a takedown but Bishop manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Zimmerman's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Zimmerman gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bishop.
Bishop throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on Zimmerman's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Bishop dives in looking to finish as Zimmerman flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Bishop's strikes! Bishop is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! Zimmerman's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Zimmerman was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Quinn Bishop!
Quinn Bishop decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
