Hamed throws a leg kick but Cote sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Cote tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Ahsan Hamed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Hamed. Those never looked like landing.
Cote avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Cote wants to counter the offense by Hamed and move into the clinch position.
Good leg kick by Hamed there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Hamed is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Cote has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Hamed is looking to defend but Cote has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hamed! Cote pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hamed taps out and this one is all over!

Hamed stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hamed wants it to stay on the feet.
Hamed could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Stephens tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Hamed tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Stephens raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.

Stephens gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Hamed regains guard.
Stephens postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Stephens seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Hamed wants to control the position but Stephens says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. #SUB2#
Stephens maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Hamed could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Stephens has cracked it and Hamed is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Stephens!
