Cote tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Ahsan Hamed seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sloppy strikes from Hamed. Those never looked like landing.
Cote avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Hamed is looking to defend but Cote has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Hamed! Cote pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Hamed taps out and this one is all over!

Hamed stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hamed wants it to stay on the feet.
Hamed could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

Stephens raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
