Chang has his takedown stuffed
and Richardson makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Chang really felt that one!
Richardson dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chang. That did some damage!
Chang misses with a takedown
and Richardson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Chang throws a jab when Richardson was well out of range.
And Richardson counters with a quick kick to the body but Chang blocks it.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Chang crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Richardson - the referee stops the clock and Chang gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Richardson. Chang manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Chang takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.

Richardson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Chang stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Mike Chang seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kuznetcov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Chang is trying to pull guard but Kuznetcov has him pressed against the cage.

Chang is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Brown is just riding it out for now. Chang eventually gives up the hold.

Brown lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
James Brown seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Chang takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Brown stalks Chang and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Chang's face. Chang staggers backwards, shaken.#CUT2#
