Kormac gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Wheeler counters with a three punch combo that has Kormac backing up. Kormac nods at Wheeler to acknowledge the strikes.
Kormac shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wheeler sprawls well. Wheeler wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Kormac gets slowly back to his feet.
Horrible takedown attempt by Kormac or perhaps it was just good defense by Wheeler, which made it look bad.
As Kormac looks to move away, Wheeler throws a big counter combo but Kormac just gets out of the way.
Bret Wheeler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of John Kormac.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kormac is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Wheeler's leg. Oh but that's left an opportunity for Wheeler! He's got an arm triangle... it looks tight! He's rotating and Kormac has tapped! This one is allllll over!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#TD#
Wheeler manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Skjoldr on his heels. He'll look to pass Skjoldr's guard now, I'm sure.
Skjoldr wants to get back to his feet but Wheeler passes into half guard.
Wheeler takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.#SUB#
Wheeler is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Skjoldr has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Skjoldr is looking to escape.
Wheeler working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Skjoldr tries to kick Wheeler off in order to stand up. Wheeler Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.

Skjoldr tries to escape but Wheeler is in control.

Wheeler has hold of Skjoldr's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Skjoldr seems comfortable defending it but Wheeler has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Skjoldr is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Skjoldr is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Wheeler couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Lucas is keen to just control but Wheeler is a slippery customer.

Wheeler tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Eivind Espedal manages to circle out of the way.

It looks like Bret Wheeler has been cut.
Eivind Espedal throws a head kick but Wheeler moves out of range.
Oh Wheeler is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Eivind Espedal lunges in with a left hook that violently twists Wheeler head around and knocks him out cold! Eivind Espedal hops onto the cage and yells out at the top of his lungs - Yeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaah! They're showing the replay on the big screens now; that was nasty! I hope one of the photographers got a good shot of it.
