Kapunen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kapunen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kapunen working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Hodge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Hodge manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Anto Kapunen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

It looked like Hodge was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Mose Hodge has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Anto Kapunen.

Kapunen bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Solis is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kapunen uses his free foot to push down on Solis's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Solis.
Kapunen takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Solis really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Solis has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Kapunen has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Solis taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Kapunen doesn't care though - he's delighted!
