It looks like William Boon has been cut.

Ban Gbus should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

William Boon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Boon has his takedown stuffed
and Ban Gbus rattles Boon with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Boon tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Ban Gbus dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Boon stiff and motionless on the mat!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Olajide Ban Gbus!

Buckley defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Boon.
Boon fails with a takedown attempt.
Boon goes for a double leg but Buckley avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Buckley continues to drive forward.
It looked like Buckley was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Boon.

Boon manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Buckley on his heels. He'll look to pass Buckley's guard now, I'm sure.#SUB2#

Buckley has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Boon to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Buckley is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Boon pulls down on the head and he's put Buckley to sleep! This one is all over!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Anoai can do anything to dispel that myth.
