Wright getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Wright lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Joy takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

and Joy counters with a right hand to the body.
A looping hook to the body misses from Joy. Wright does a little dance to reset his feet.
Wright throws a sloppy head kick and Joy moves out of range easily.
It looked like Joy wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Wright shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Joy sprawls well. Joy wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Wright gets slowly back to his feet.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Joy lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Wright has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Wright and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Joy has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Joy thows an elbow strike that misses. Brown gets hold of full guard and has managed to get a loose guillotine attempt. Joy doesn't seem too bothered but Brown quickly shifts his position and has tightened the hold! Joy is in big trouble now - he's going a funny colour - he's tapping out! Nice finish there! Joy really should have spotted the danger earlier though... either incompetence or over-confidence has resulted in a big L on his record.
