Cruz doesn't manage to clinch there - Duck circles away.
Cruz has his takedown stuffed
and Duck counters with a straight right hand.
Cruz closes the distance and clinches up with Duck, looking for a takedown. Cruz pushes Duck against the cage but Duck circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.#CL2#
Duck clinches up with Cruz and pushes him back against the cage.
Cruz fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mark Cruz. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD#

Cruz is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Duck's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Duck's back!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Cruz tries to clinch but Duck is having none of it.
Duck steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Cruz is out on his feet! Duck sets himself and nearly takes Cruz's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
