It looks like Bubba Gu has been cut.
Yol lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.

Yol tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Gu drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gu is trying to drag Yol to the mat but Yol just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Gu has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Yol creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Gu with a big uppercut! Gu tries to clinch up but Yol pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Gu to the mat! Gu covers up and Yol unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Yol uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Gu has time to react.#CUT#
It looks like Bubba Gu has been cut.
Gu fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Yol tests Gu's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Yol scores with a punch to the head.
Yol cracks Gu on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Gu falls backwards against the cage. Yol follows up with more strikes that drop Gu to his knees. Yol keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Gu! This one is all over!

Lynch wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Gu fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lynch avoids it really well and circles away.
Gu with a poor takedown
and Lynch connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Lynch throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. #TD2#
Lynch scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Lynch looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Gu with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Lynch is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lynch winds up and cracks Gu with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gu on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gu tries to get out of the position.
Lynch is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Lynch is nestled in close to Gu, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lynch lands a big elbow - Gu is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Lynch!

Chigg throws a nice head kick!

It looks like Bubba Gu has been cut.
Chigg looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Chigg buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
A slow jab from Chigg misses its intended target.
Chigg with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Gu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Chigg lands a leg kick that knocks Gu off balance momentarily.
Nice takedown defense from Chigg. No joy for Gu on that attempt.
Chigg throws a head kick but Gu moves out of range.

Chigg clinches up with Gu and pushes him back against the cage.
Chigg tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Gu's elbow.

Gu is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Chigg is defending well.
A left hand lands to the body for Chigg.
Gu tries to score a body lock takedown but Chigg shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Maya Chigg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bubba Gu.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Gu drops down looking for an ankle pick but Chigg pulls his leg out and moves away.

Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Chigg! Gu is out on his feet! Chigg rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Gu is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Gu is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
