We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Burns tries to bum rush Cage with a series of wild strikes but Cage uses good footwork to avoid the assault.#CL2#
Burns drives through and clinches with Cage against the cage.
Burns misses with a punch on the inside.
Burns misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Cage. #BC2#
Burns breaks from the clinch.
Burns throws a leg kick that is checked
and Cage counters with a nice uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cage stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Burns.
Cage keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.#T1#
Burns throws a jab but it's blocked by Cage.
Burns tries to close the distance and clinch up but Cage swats him away and circles back towards the center.
As Burns looks to move away, Cage throws a big counter combo but Burns just gets out of the way.
Burns swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Cage is looking for a counter combo.
Burns lands a leg kick that knocks Cage off balance momentarily.#TD2#
Burns drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.#T2#
Burns happy to just control the position for now.
Burns trying to control the position but Cage is working away. #SUB2#
Burns has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Cage is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Burns yanks on the arm and Cage is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Burns.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Richard Burns!

Burns misses with a series of wild punches.
Burns throws a right and a left that both miss.
Ramsay defending well as Burns loads up on a big left hand.
Ramsay comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
A head kick by Burns misses #TD#
and Ramsay counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Burns! #SUB#
Ramsay working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Burns wants to control but Ramsay postures up.

Ramsay has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Burns!
Ramsay lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Burns hang on?

Ramsay lands a big shot there that rocks Burns but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
Ramsay takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Burns takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Ramsay's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gordon Ramsay!
A relieved looking Gordon Ramsay thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.

Burns slips a jab and a cross from Jones.
Jones misses with a looping left.
Burns is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Jones.
Burns takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Jones misses with an uppercut.
Burns is looking to counter the offense by Jones and move into the clinch.
A big right from Jones misses.
Burns lands a head shot.
Burns loads up on a big right hand but Jones slips the punch.
Burns shoots in and drives through. Jones sprawls well.

Burns throws a nice looking combination but Jones bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A shot to the liver by Jones. Beautiful body shot.

Jones drops Burns with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Burns looks back up at him and smiles so Jones waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed. #ROC2#
Burns is rocked!
Jones's coach down at Better Alternative ($800/week, 12 elites) was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Jones's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Burns is holding his hands too far apart here. Jones throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Burns is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Van Jones!
