It looked like Shaw wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit.
Shaw throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Haug lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Haug throws a jab when Shaw was well out of range.
Haug throws a hook but Shaw avoids it easily.
Haug throws a hook to the side of Shaw's head but Shaw sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Ulf Haug spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.

Haug throws a series of punches but Cheryshev avoids them all with ease.
Cheryshev lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Haug shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cheryshev counters with a straight right hand.
Cheryshev wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Cheryshev engages and cracks Haug with a massive lead left hook - Haug tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Cheryshev is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!

We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.#TD#
Excellent takedown into side control there by Poland.
Poland tries to advance to mount but Haug denies him.
Poland scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Haug to see if he's OK.
Haug manages to work his way to half guard, despite Poland's best efforts.#SUB2#
Haug is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Poland pulls his head out easily.
Poland is nestled in close to Haug, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Veitayaki avoiding damage.
Haug has Veitayaki pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Veitayaki manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Veitayaki is pressed up against the cage. Haug has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Veitayaki down to the mat. Veitayaki avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. #TD#
Veitayaki throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Haug was covering up waiting for the punch and Veitayaki finishes the takedown easily into guard. #SUB2#
Haug has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Veitayaki should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Haug has tightened it up now! Veitayaki should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
