Hawk misses with a knee strike.

Hawk lands a good knee to the midsection. Snipes won't want to take too many of those.
Snipes tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Hawk just stands there and leans against the cage.
Snipes jumps guard but Hawk stands there with Snipes around his waist. Snipes gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Wade Snipes. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Oh, another knee lands and Snipes is covering up! The referee steps in to save him - possibly a bit early but Snipes doesn't seem to be complaining.
