Ruggiero throws out a counter right but Khan avoids it with no problem.

and Khan counters with a straight punch to the midsection.
Saul Khan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Khan has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

Ruggiero changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Khan tries to avoid it but Ruggiero manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Khan to the ground. Khan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Saul Khan will probably get the nod.
